Manchester City have been handed a boost ahead of Wednesday's clash with Brighton & Hove Albion,
confirming on their official website that Raheem Sterling is ‘set to return’ against the Seagulls.
The 26-year-old missed Sunday’s FA Cup win over Birmingham City as he was
short of fitness. However, he is now available for selection and could start at the Etihad Stadium.
Sterling, who Pep Guardiola has
called ‘an exceptional player’ in the past, has made
23 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring seven goals and supplying eight assists.
He’s created
18 chances and made 28 successful dribbles in 14 Premier League games, scoring or making an assist in four of his last six.
