Manchester City completed the signing of Julian Alvarez from River Plate during the winter transfer window, however, he remains with River on loan until July 1st, 2022. It is yet unclear what squad number the youngster will wear when he joins City. So ahead of his move let's take a look and see what number he could take at the Premier League side. His current number at River Plate is No.9, however, it is currently occupied by Gabriel Jesus at City. On a club level, Alvarez has always worn number 9, but on a national level, he has had several different numbers. The current number he wears for Argentina is 15, which is currently available at City and as No. 9 isn't available, No.15 could be an option. Other available numbers at City are: 1, 4, 12, 15, 18, 19, 24, 50.
