Manchester City star Kevin de Bruyne's future at the club appears to have come under doubt, after it was claimed that the Belgian is waiting to hear about the Champions League ban before committing his long-term future at the club.
City were banned from European competitions by UEFA earlier this season, over claims that the club had breached Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules.
De Bruyne had reportedly already made it clear that he intends to remain in Manchester, despite the ban.
However, it is now claimed De Bruyne will commit to City, based on the Champions League ban appeal, according to Belgian newspaper Sport/Foot.
De Bruyne may decide to leave the Citizens if their ban is upheld, following the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) appeal.
The Belgian has been at City for almost five years, after joining the club in a £68m move from Wolfsburg in 2015.
