Manchester City star Kevin de Bruyne has been ruled out of their Champions League clash with Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday night after picking up a groin strain.
The playmaker picked up the injury in Saturday’s Premier League win at Everton.
De Bruyne looks set to sit out the European clash, according to
The Athletic.
City are expected to send De Bruyne for further tests to determine the seriousness of the problem, with the club facing an anxious wait to see whether or not he will be fit for the next Premier League fixture against Wolves.
Asked about injuries, Guardiola said: "
Yesterday, everybody was fit. Before the Champions League games, everybody is fit. I don't know why but if they have problems they don't tell me."
