Manchester City trio miss training ahead of Lyon clash

Manchester City trio Bernardo Silva, Gabriel Jesus and Ilkay Gundogan were all absent as the Sky Blues trained ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Lyon. Bernardo missed Saturday’s 4-0 win against West Ham on Saturday with a muscle strain but was expected to be in contention for Lyon. Both Jesus and Gundogan featured at the London Stadium. Victory on Tuesday will guarantee qualification to the knockout stages as group winners, but Pep Guardiola’s side only needs a point to ensure safe passage to the last 16.
