Manchester United add Sporting Lisbon captain to list of transfer targets

Manchester United are eyeing Sporting Lisbon captain Bruno Fernandes, according to the London Evening Standard. The 24-year-old is said to be on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s list of transfer targets should he be given the permanent manager’s role at the club in the summer. Solskjaer is keen to fill the midfield berth vacated by Marouane Fellaini in January with a player capable of contributing to the Reds' goals next season Fernandes has been capped 11 times by Portugal. The goalscoring midfielder has 24 goals in 43 appearances to his name this season.
