Manchester United are considering a loan option for their striker Mason Greenwood amid uncertainty over his return date at Old Trafford.
The skilled Englishman is awaiting confirmation on whether he will be permitted to join pre-season training at the club. The last time Greenwood started for ten Hag's side was a 1-0 win over West Ham on January, 2022.
According to the Manchester Evening News, United's management is leaning towards the idea of loaning out the talented striker for the upcoming season. In addition, Erik ten Hag is reportedly against selling Greenwood.
The young forward is currently under contract until 2025, with the option for an additional year. With a record of 35 goals and twelve assists in 129 appearances for United, Greenwood has proven his potential and impact.
