Manchester United have reportedly given up hope of signing Sergio Reguilon this summer. Instead, former boss Jose Mourinho is expected to swoop in for the Spanish defender.

According to
Forbes United are unlikely to put a bid in for the player, with the Red Devils of the belief that their name has been brought up to ramp up interest in Reguilon. They believe Tottenham will complete a deal for the 23-year-old, who has impressed in La Liga.
The transfer drama took another twist after Reguilon deleted the details about playing for both Sevilla and Real Madrid in the biography of his Twitter and Instagram accounts. The defender also changed his profile picture to a snap of him representing his national team, having picked up his first full cap over the weekend.
