Manchester United are closing in on the January signing of Mario Mandzukic from Juventus, as per <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/news/man-utd-closing-in-on-mandzukic-signing-from-juventus/1r07ultdas6s31bfgqii1on4kl">Goal.</a>

The Red Devils are confident that the Serie A side will except the fee of £9 million for the 33-year-old.

The forward is expected to sign a 18-month deal with the Premier League side and is expected to earn a salary of £4.4m a year.

Mandzukic hasn't made any appearances for Juventus during this season and was left out of their Champions League squad.

Juventus are currently leading the Serie A table with 19 points, while Manchester United are 12th in the Premier League table with 9 points.
