Manchester United complete Nathan Bishop transfer from Southend United

Manchester United have completed a deal for Southend United goalkeeper Nathan Bishop. Bishop joined Southend at the age of 16, making his debut two years later. He has made 17 appearances for the League One this season. Now, 20-year-old joins the Red Devils for an undisclosed fee. Speaking on his move to Olde Trafford, the youngster said: "The opportunity to join Manchester United is a dream come true. This club has a great record of developing goalkeepers and I cannot wait to work with the coaches here to improve every single day. I want to take the chance to thank everyone at Southend United for everything they have done for me throughout my time there; without their support, this move would not have been possible." Bishop will be linked up with United's Under-23 squad for the rest of the season.
