Manchester United have dealt a transfer blow as Ajax star Andre Onana has revealed that he wants to remain at the club.
Onana has been linked with a move to Manchester United amid the uncertainty over the future of David de Gea.
However, the 23-year-old goalkeeper has revealed that he wants to stay at Ajax.
“It is important to me that I play at a good level and that I can continue to develop,” Onana told Voetbal International.
“I am still young and with Ajax we have just proved how much we can achieve with this club. It will not be easy to surpass that. But I want to fight for new success with Ajax.”
Onana made 55 appearances for Ajax during the last season.
