Manchester United encouraged to make Jadon Sancho transfer

Manchester United have been encouraged to make Jadon Sancho transfer, as Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc refused to assure the winger's future at German club. The 19-year-old enjoys an impressive season, having scored 15 goals and assisting 16 times for the club. Sancho has been targeted by the Red Devils for a long time and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are likely to bring the winger when transfer window reopens in summer. Speaking on Sancho's future with Dortmund, Zorc has admitted they may not be able to keep the player for another season. He told German outlet Bild: "The fact is no other club has contacted us so far about Jadon. [I can’t] reliably answer today [if Sancho will stay at Dortmund beyond the summer]. What I can say for sure is that he feels very comfortable with us. Otherwise he could not produce such [high-level] performances week after week. He is a phenomenon and is now producing top performances. And he rarely takes a break on the pitch, helping the team with their defensive work. He is hard-working and gets the greatest of respect from me." Zorc has also explained the reason behind Erling Haaland's decision to join the German club amid United interest. "[Agent] Mino [Raiola] and Erling's father Alf-Inge quickly recognized that Borussia Dortmund is the best address for ambitious top talents," he added.
