Manchester United have reportedly failed in a bid to sign Bournemouth striker Joshua King in the January transfer window.
United have been searching for a forward after missing out on Erling Haaland. The Red Devils did not replace Romelu Lukaku or Alexis Sanchez last summer.
Solskjaer has identified King as a potential solution.
However, United’s bid were rejected by Bournemouth, according to the
Telegraph.
Bournemouth are currently in the Premier League drop zone and manager Eddie Howe is determined to keep his squad together in a bid to avoid relegation.
