Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Angel Gomes will leave the club. The 19-year-old is out of contract at the club on Tuesday night and Solskjaer does not expect the forward to re-sign with the club.
"Got no news, nothing," Solskjaer said. "So doesn't look like it. To be honest, I've not heard from them last night or this morning, it seems like they haven't managed to agree so the answer is probably short and yes, then."
United refused to arrange a short-term extension until the end of the season with Gomes. According to the MEN, Gomes rejected United's opening offer of a new deal earlier this season and the forward has been unconvinced about his playing prospects at the club.
Barcelona have tracked Gomes for over a year and Chelsea were linked with signing him last month. Gomes is represented by his father, Gil, and brother, Rico.
