Manchester United have been handed a massive injury boost ahead of Liverpool clash, as Anthony Martial's injury is not as bad as first feared and the striker could be available on Sunday.

The 25-year-old looked to have hurt his hamstring during their win over <a href="https://www.mirror.co.uk/all-about/burnley-fc" data-content-type="section-topic" data-link-tracking="InArticle|Link">Burnley</a> on Tuesday night.

However, Martial was moving freely after the contest though and will be assessed this morning after United's players were given Wednesday off, according to the <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9144285/Man-United-star-Anthony-Martial-fit-Liverpool-showdown.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Daily Mail</a>.

The Frenchman started in attack alongside Marcus Rashford and Edinson Cavani at Turf Moor, and can be available for the Liverpool clash at Anfield on Sunday.
