Manchester United handed a triple injury boost ahead of Liverpool clash

Manchester United are given a triple injury boost with the comeback of three key players, ahead of Sunday’s huge fixture against rivals Liverpool. Paul Pogba, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw are all set to return for the Old Trafford clash, but Anthony Martial is in contention to make it into the squad due to a hamstring injury. Both Shaw and Martial haven’t played since Red Devils’ 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace on August, while Pogba hasn’t featured in five of their seven matches through an ankle problem. Wan-Bissaka has missed United’s last three games because of a bout of tonsillitis, but is seems to be fully recovered during the international break and is expected to return. United’s head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under high pressure ahead of the clash, as his side have suffered the worst start to the season in 30 years and are now in the 12th place of the Premier League table while Liverpool are leading the standings with maximum 24 points.
