Manchester United injury update and predicted lineup ahead AZ Alkmaar clash

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given an injury update and has named the 21-man squad ahead of Thursday's clash against AZ Alkmaar in their second game of the Europa League. Paul Pogba has to miss the game after suffering an ankle injury during the clash against Arsenal. The midfielder hasn’t travelled to The Hague. Anthony Martial is going to miss the upcoming match as well. He didn’t take part in the last six games of the Red Devils after picking up a hamstring injury when playing against Crystal Palace on 24 August. Marcus Rashford has suffered a groin injury during United's defeat at West Ham and will miss the clash. Aaron Wan-Bissaka is struggling from tonsillitis, so he will rest in England this time. Though Luke Shaw is now training, United coach decided not to include him in the squad because of his hamstring strain. Phil Jones is not on the squad list. However, the Englishman regain fitness for the upcoming matches. Eric Bailly is not expected to return to the game until December. He’s going to stay in the sidelines. On the other hand, Diogo Dalot and Angel Gomes are back after their injuries. Mason Greenwood, having scored in United’s opening win over FC Astana, is also included in the playing squad.
