Manchester United join the race for "new Virgil van Dijk"

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is ready to make a last-minute bid to seize Napoli’s bid for Lille central defender Gabriel Magalhaes, labelled as “New Virgil van Dijk”, according to Express. The Italian side have made a move to sign Brazilian Under-20 international and Victor Osimhen in a joint £100million deal. But Solskjaer is keen on buying a central defensive partner for England international Harry Maguire this summer as well as a left-back and a goalkeeper. The Norwegian has been keeping tabs on Milan Skriniar.  Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the Slovakian international who is rated at £75million. Magalhaes has been linked with several Premier League clubs including Chelsea, Newcastle United and Wolves. But Solskjaer has warned that his transfer budget has been hit by the financial impact of the coronavirus. Source: Express
