Manchester United to make a move for £17.5m Liverpool target

PSV winger Steven Bergwijn has been linked with a move to Premier League with Manchester United and Liverpool having shown an interest in the player. According to TheSun, Solskjaer wants the club to activate the €20million (£17.5m) exit clause in the player's contract. Steven Bergwijn, whose contract is until the summer of 2022, has scored 10 goals in 24 games. United appear to be leading the race for the winger, with Solskjaer reportedly set to make his move before the January transfer window shuts, with the player likely to be loaned back to the Dutch giants for the remainder of the season.
