Manchester United ace Fred is set to start against Switzerland on Brazil's second matchday of the World up on November 28.
The midfielder is expected to replace Neymar who sustained a knee injury in their opening victory over Serbia last week. As per reports, Tite will give the chance to the 29-year-old ahead of Real Madrid's Rodrygo.
According to the Brazilian outlet GLOBO, the PSG star will miss the remaining matches of the group stages, against Switzerland and Cameroon, on December 2.
Fred came off the bench in Selecao’s solid 2 - 0 win over Dragan Stojković's side, fellow United teammate Antony, meanwhile, has returned to training with the team after missing two training sessions due to illness.
