Manchester United midfielder Fred set to become shock Serie A transfer target

Fiorentina are reportedly lining up a surprise move for Manchester United midfielder Fred. The 26-year-old made only 17 appearances in the Premier League last year, after his £47million move from Shakhtar Donetsk. With the European transfer window still open until September 2 Fiorentina are reportedly making enquiries about Fred. The Serie A side ready to offer him the lure of regular first-team football. According to Calciomercato they would be willing to offer around £27m for him.
