Manchester United have beat RB Leipzig and AC Milan for Independiente del Valle midfielder Moises Caicedo, according to reports in Ecuador. United are in advanced talks to sign the 19-year-old. Caicedo has quickly emerged as one of the brightest young prospects in South America. According to Ecuador newspaper Diario Extra, United are ‘well advanced’ in the race to sign Caicedo after entering negotiations with Independiente del Valle. The report claims the 19-year-old has also attracted strong interest from RB Leipzig and AC Milan, but United have submitted the best offer so far. Independiente del Valle are reportedly asking for an initial £5.5m fee plus add-ons and a 20 per cent sell-on clause.
