On Friday morning Manchester United announced their fans' player of the year for the staggered season which ended trophyless last month. There were a few supporters who were quite surprised.
Despite only joining in January the accolade went to Bruno Fernandes, who staved off competition from Marcus Rashford, Fred and Aaron Wan-Bissaka to claim the award.
However, the United players don't quite agree. Although the love for Fernandes is clear to see, they opted for somebody else, voting Anthony Martial the players' player of the year.
"I think that is probably the most prestigious one for the players," Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told
MUTV of Martial's recognition.
"When your teammates really respect and show you how they feel you perform for the team and for everyone, that is a big one for Anthony to get.
"It is a great statement towards how Anthony is building or developing as a player and a person."
