Manchester United have reached a verbal agreement to sign Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic in January, according to
Tuttosport.
The 33-year-old was close to joining United in the summer but remained in Turin, where he hasn’t featured for the Italian champions.
Mandzukic is said to have turned down a £7million-a-year deal with Qatari side Al-Rayyan and his camp have reached an agreement in place with United, who he will join on January 1.
The Croatia international has scored 44 goals in 162 appearances for Juventus since joining them from Atletico Madrid in 2015.
