Manchester United react to surprise Alexis Sanchez ‘loan deal’

Alexis Sanchez has reportedly been offered loan deal from Brazilian side Palmeiras, who are keen to land the Chilean. The forward has been underperforming since his move from Arsenal but continues to be the highest earner of the club. The 30-year-old hit the net 80 times in 166 games for the Gunners, but he has scored just five goals in 45 appearances for United, embarrassingly netting just once in the Premier League in the 2018/19 campaign. And it is in Brazil where journalist Jorge Nicola - via Sport Witness - has reported that Palmeiras, the current Brazilian Serie A champions, were interested in a move for the former Udinese and Barcelona man which was rejected by Manchester United.
