Manchester United are interested in signing Bayern Munich star Serge Gnabry for the upcoming transfer windows.
According to Fichajes (via MEN), Erik ten Hag's side are considering putting together a £52 million offer for Serge Gnabry in their efforts to strengthen their right-wing position.
The uncertain future of Jadon Sancho, due to his issues with Erik ten Hag, and Antony's inability to live up to his £85 million price tag since joining the club have prompted this move.
The report suggests that Ten Hag is an admirer of Gnabry, who had an impressive record of 17 goals and 12 assists in 47 matches last season. It also mentions that the United leadership shares the manager's enthusiasm for the player.
The forward is set to play against Manchester United in the Champions League group stage opener on Wednesday, but he hasn't scored in any of his four appearances this season. The 28-year-old recently signed a new contract that will keep him at Bayern Munich until 2026.
United might take advantage of the fact that Gnabry will have only two years remaining on his contract next summer, in the hopes that Bayern Munich may consider selling him.
