Manchester United are considering Paris Saint-Germain star Adrien Rabiot as a replacement for Paul Pogba.
Pogba has been linked to Real Madrid following Manchester United’s failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Ed Woodward blocked the 26-year-old from joining Barcelona last summer after he fell out with Jose Mourinho.
Pogba, who returned to Old Trafford for £89m from Juventus in 2016, has been slapped with a £160m price-tag.
L’Equipe have linked United with a move for Rabiot.
Rabiot’s contract is about to expire so bringing him in and allowing Pogba leave for Madrid would leave a chunk of funds to strengthen elsewhere.
