Antony remains confident about his future at Manchester United and is determined to prove his innocence against allegations of abuse that have been leveled against him.
The Brazilian has faced multiple accusations made by Gabriela Cavallin, who disclosed her claims in an interview with the Brazilian website UOL on Monday.
These allegations include the presentation of photographs and screenshots of messages. Both Greater Manchester Police and Brazilian law enforcement are currently investigating these allegations.
Furthermore, on Thursday, two additional women came forward with their own accusations of abuse, as reported in the Brazilian media.
However, the 23-year-old has now broken the silence and publicly denied all the rumors surrounding his name.
In an emotional interview with the Brazilian TV show Fofocalizando (quoted by talkSPORT), the Red Devils' star expressed his feelings and stated
"It's something that doesn't cross my mind. I know the truth and it will show up. I know there are a lot of people butchering me, but the truth comes out."
"I don't support this ever. It's totally wrong, 100 per cent wrong. I have a mother, a sister, and I would never want this to happen to them."
"I wanted to go and told her that I had obligations and had to go, so she took plates and cups and threw them on the ground and I grabbed her in order to calm her down. I didn't hurt her."
Due to these ongoing investigations, Antony was withdrawn from the Brazil national team for their matches against Bolivia and Peru.\
