Manchester United star Luke Shaw developed a hamstring problem in the loss to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Shaw, who was substituted in the first half of the 2-1 defeat, now faces a spell on the sidelines.
England left-back won’t recover from the injury for at least a month, according to
talkSPORT.
Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, meanwhile, was initially hopeful the knock to Shaw was not too serious.
Solskjaer said: "
We will do the scans tomorrow, but he felt something in his hamstring. Hopefully, he won't be too bad and will be back for Southampton."
