Manchester United face Marcos Rojo possible transfer

Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo is possible to quit the club during the January transfer window. The 29-year-old returned to training two weeks ago after a muscle injury, then flying to Argentina in order to celebrate Christmas Eve with his family. Rojo moved to Old Trafford for £16million on the back of the 2014 World Cup. Since now the player has experienced lack of playing time, facing fitness issues. The Argentinian has featured in 123 United games out of possible 305 and the club tried to sell him in four of the last five transfer windows. He was close to join Everton in August, but the transfer canceled as the Red Devils insisted on a permanent deal, while Everton wanted to sign the player on loan. Axel Tuanzebe has picked up an injury again, while Rojo is fit. However, United sources have told the MEN the 29-year-old is likely to move from the club in a mid-season. The Red Devils have other playing options, including Phil Jones, teenager Dishon Bernard and Eric Bailly, who is near to his comeback after a five-month absence due to his knee injury.
