Marc Overmars speaks out on Hakim Ziyech amid Arsenal links

Arsenal have been interested in signing Ajax forward Hakim Ziyech, however, it has been revealed by BBC that the Gunners have ended their interest. It’s believed that the North London side want to focus on their other targets. Amid the suggestions that Arsenal doesn't want to sign Ziyech, Ajax director of football Marc Overmars spoke out on the situation claiming that Ziyech is better than Mesut Ozil. "I am surprised that things are still so quiet around Ziyech. I think he's better than Mesut Özil. I would say: sell Ozil and for half his fee you can get Ziyech, but they didn't listen to me. So its possible he stays with Ajax," said Overmars.
