Martial reveals what Solskjaer asked him to do differently

Martial reveals what Solskjaer asked him to do differently UEFA Champions League action kicks off on Tuesday night with the eagerly-awaited first leg clash between Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain at Old Trafford. Ahead of the game, Manchester United player Anthony Martial has faced the press. Martial on life under a new coach “We have a coach with a different approach and we’re trying to do what he’s asking us to do, perhaps it’s easier for us to play this style of football.” Martial wants Solskjaer to stay... “Well obviously things are going really well, we are really happy,” Martial said. I hope we can keep him, but it is not down to us.” Martial asked if there are more goals to come from him after his stunning solo effort at Fulham. “He has often said that to me, and even previous managers have said that to me. I will score more goals.” Martial on a draw and if United are favourites “I think when Ole came in he had a lot of confidence and determination. That’s really boosted us and obviously, we are trying to pay it back in kind and hope things work out well. Well no, I don’t think we are necessarily favourites. Obviously, they have absentees and that should be to our advantage. It will be a great game and I hope that we win.” Martial on Pogba “Paul is Paul. I think I have said that before, he has a huge amount of qualities, he is one of the best midfielders in the world. He is showing that and he will do even better over the next few matches.” What has Solskjaer asked Martial to do differently? “Asked me to attack more and attack. That’s my job, to make the difference and be more decisive. Things are working out well for the other strikers too and I hope we can all continue to be effective and efficient.”
