Martin Odegaard has dropped a hint on a possible Arsenal stay ahead of his loan deal expiring in the summer.
The young midfielder is set to return to Real Madrid ahead of next season with Los Blancos keen to see whether the midfielder can play a part next term.
And amid permanent transfer links at the Emirates, Odegaard himself is helping fuel that talk with hints over what might be possible. His latest has seen him tell Real Madrid exactly what he wants if he is to return - 'stability'.
“I said many times that I’ve been looking for stability (in same club), but haven’t found it," he told
VG.
"I think it’ll be important to find stability. I’m very happy at Arsenal, enjoying myself. I like it here. Now my focus is to finish the season, then we’ll see.”
Odegaard has already made nine appearances across all competitions for Arsenal, six have which have come in the league, and he made the headlines last time out after scoring with a stunning strike in the 3-1 win over Olympiacos.
