Mason Mount has signed a new five-year contract ahead of travelling with the squad on the pre-season tour to Japan,
the club has announced.
After an impressive 2018/19 season loan at Derby County, he has now committed his future to the Blues by signing a deal to stay at Stamford Bridge until at least 2024.
On signing his new deal, 20-year-old Mount said: “
It’s a massively proud moment for myself and my family. I joined this club at six years old and it was always my goal to play for the first team one day.
“I’m really looking forward to the coming season now and working hard to have an impact here at Chelsea. I’ve been at the club for a long time already and hopefully, I’ll stay for a long time to come.”
