Mauricio Pochettino reveals one advantage Ajax have over Tottenham

Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino says Ajax are in better conditions compared to them ahead of Champions League semi-finals first leg. Argentine coach refers to the decision of Eredivisie chiefs to postpone all matches of the league so that Ajax could have more time to rest before the crucial match, as Dutch side have sensationally reached UCL semis for the first time since 1996/97 season. "The reality is they are going to have more time to prepare and avoid risk. When you play Saturday and then Tuesday, competing in a derby and for big things, the concentration and effort is massive." Pochettino said (via Daily Mail). Surs coach added that he's not complaining and he would've thought the same if they had one week for preparation and Ajax had a match on Saturday. Argentine admits, that Premier League tries to help English teams, but EPL could not be compared to Eredivisie. After beating Brighton & Hove Albion at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium due to Christian Eriksen's late goal, Spurs are now 3rd in EPL table and have 3 point advantage over 4th placed Chelsea, that will face Manchester United, another candidate for Top - 4 places.
