Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino says it was a difficult moment for them to see Harry Kane injured, and it was a disappointing moment for the forward.
England international got injured in the second half of Champions League quarterfinals first leg against Manchester City and was forced to be substituted.
As medical tests have shown, Kane has suffered ankle injury and is set to miss the remaining part of the season.
“After the game it was a difficult moment for him (Kane). Of course, watching the action we feel so disappointed, and of course it was difficult to accept the situation but now he is much better, he did the scan yesterday, he needs to see the specialist this this week.” Pochettino said during the press-conference.
“I think now he is in a good place because he is a very positive guy and of course disappointed, of course, he’s a little bit sad, but you know very well, like we know him, that he is a very positive person that now he is looking forward to try and recover as soon as possible.” Spurs coach added.
