Max Verstappen says it does not matter who he is fighting with on the track, as long as it’s for the top positions.
The 22-year-old is aiming to become the youngest ever driver to win F1 World title in 2020.
The season looks to set up for Verstappen to take on Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton for the title in an intense battle.
He told media including GPBlog in Barcelona:
"For me it doesn't matter who I'm fighting with, as long as it's the first place. Doesn't matter if it's pink, red or silver-grey. It also doesn't matter if I'm fighting a world champion or a rookie. I want to win. I hope we get a good start from the start and fight for those spots. In the end, if you look back on ten years of Formula 1, no matter who you've fought, we just want to win."
The Dutchman also had a few spins during the two weeks of testing, but he joked and said it was to give people something to talk about! He added:
"I knew we had to talk about something, so I thought, let's do some spins. We want to try the limits and I think that worked well with a few spins, we know where that limit is now."
