Mesut Ozil is already battling for his future.
New boss Unai Emery has admitted that Mesut Ozil must work harder if he wants to stay at the club.
Ozil missed the Spaniard’s first win as Gunners manager, over West Ham, on Saturday and his absence is under major scrutiny. The German star, who signed a £350,000-a-week contract in January when Arsene Wenger was still manager, got substituted with 20 minutes to go in the previous game at Chelsea.
It is also clear that Emery does not care about names or reputations and is ready to be ruthless with his selections.
