Mesut Ozil is trying to win back Unai Emery’s trust

After missing Arsenal’s last four matches in all competitions Mesut Ozil is desperate to force his way back into the Arsenal squad. The German is working extremely hard to win back Unai Emery’s trust as he has little intention to leave Arsenal. The 30-year-old is doing everything possible to get fully fit and is even putting in extra gym work and is impressing everyone with his positive attitude.

Asked about the prospect of Ozil leaving Arsenal, Emery said at his pre-match press conference: “I am not thinking about that. I am thinking about how he can help us. “He has helped us sometimes this year with good performances and others not good. After these two weeks working, maybe he can be okay for us.” The German could return to the squad to face Chelsea on Saturday, with his creativity sorely missed against West Ham.
