MLS side Atlanta attacking midfielder has been tipped to seal a move to Europe in January.
The player has been linked with Arsenal but according to some reports the move may not be so straight forward.
The Paraguayan will head to the Emirates next year for £15million following his stunning form for The Five Stripes.
Linked with Inter Milan, Newcastle United and West Ham previously, it appears that Leicester City are now interested in making a move for the highly-rated player.
According to Calciomercato the Foxes could challenge Unai Emery’s side in the battle to sign Almiron.
However, on in his intentions Almiron revealed: "It's a very nice thing for me [to hear about potential offers from European clubs].
Personally, it makes me feel really good because of the work I'm doing every day.
"As I've said before, I try not to look at these things too much so I don't go crazy. My objective has always been to go to Europe."
"I don't have a specific place in mind," he added. "I like the Premier League and I think they play a beautiful and competitive style of soccer."
