Mikel Arteta has explaines why he took off Gabriel Magalhaes during the Premier League match against Southampton.

The Gunners celebrated a 3 - 0 win over the Saints, with Alexandre Lacazette, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel scoring the winning goals for their side.

The defender was withdrawn early in Saturday’s win, and Arteta's explained his decision after the match.

<em>“He [Gabriel] had a booking so I decided to take him off,”</em> the manager said and confined there was no injury.
