Mikel Arteta has reacted to Arsenal drawing Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup after they celebrated a 5-4 win on penalties over Liverpool in the round of 16.
The full-time ended in a goalless draw and Arteta's side qualified for the next round by winning on penalties.
"I was here, waiting, enjoying a little bit the victory and now we have to play Manchester City," Arteta told Sky Sports.
"It is what it is, there are some top teams now in the competition. Another big challenge and we will get prepared for that.
"We want to take every competition as an opportunity to win a trophy and we have to do that with the club that we represent and we will try to go game by game."
While fans will be waiting for the Carabao Cup quarter-finals, the Gunners are preparing to take on Sheffield United on Sunday, October 4.
