According to the Gazzetta Dello Sport, Luka Modric’s stance has not changed and he will meet with Real Madrid president and try to convince him to let him leave the club for Inter Milan.
Modric will meet Perez next week when the Croatian returns from his vacation after the World Cup.
The 32-year-old renewed his contract until 2020, which would mean he is 34 at the end of his deal and likely nearing retirement age.
However, Perez has made it clear that Modric’s move away from Real Madrid is impossible by declaring that the Croatian star’s release clause costs £670m.
