How much missing out on Champions League will cost Manchester United flops

Manchester United's Champions League hopes are dead in the water after a 1-1 draw with Huddersfield Town and it will be a massive financial blow to their players, according to Daily Mail. Every United player will see their basic salary reduced by a whopping 25 per cent, this was in the case when they last missed out on Champions League before Jose Mourinho’s arrival in 2016. Paul Pogba will see his weekly wages cut to £225,000, but he also stands to lose out on a £1.8million bonus. Alexis Sanchez will have his £250,000-a-week reduced to £187,000 while David de Gea's £200,000 will become £150,000 and Fred's £175,000 will drop to £131,000.
