Mundo Deportivo: Arsenal failed to sign Barcelona man, will go back to him in summer

Arsenal explored the possibility to sign Samuel Umtiti in January, according to the Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo. Gunners were linked with the player for a possible loan move in the winter transfer window. A transfer didn't materialize but Mikel Arteta's side could eye the defender for the summer. Umtiti has signed a new contract with Catalan giants, reducing his salary, however, he could be open to leaving at the end of the season in case of finding his playing time-limited at the Spanish club.
