Everton are interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez. According to the Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo, Toffees are offering a 4-year-contract to the player that has struggled to find his best form for the past 2 seasons. Everton coach Carlo Ancelotti is interested in bringing the World Cup 2014 star to his team. Ancelotti has worked with James during his spells at Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. He wanted the Colombian international at Napoli, but the move failed back then. Rodriguez has made only 7 starts this season and does not have a future under Zinedine Zidane. Wolverhampton and Chelsea are also interested in the midfielders, but Everton remain the only one active player in this race.
