"Must say that": Jamie Carragher gives "honest" verdict on Liverpool attacker after Jurgen Klopp decision
Jamie Carragher has given an honest verdict on Takumi Minamino, following Liverpool's loss to Manchester City.
Reds were defeated 4 - 1 by the Premier League rivals on Sunday, with Ilkay Gundogan, Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden scoring the winning goals for their side.
Meanwhile, Takumi Minamino, who currently plays on loan at Southampton, has already scored a superb goal for the Saints and provided the quality that Jurgen Klopp's team needed against City.
“He wasn’t getting many opportunities, that’s obviously down to Jurgen Klopp,” Carragher said, when speaking about the Japanese attacker on Sky Sports. “He hadn’t shown too much to be honest in a Red shirt, we must say that."
