Nemanja Matic is confident Paul Pogba will stay at Manchester United this summer but admitted that “anything is possible.”
Pogba has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with the 26-year-old believed to be a target for Real Madrid and Juventus.
The midfielder missed the club’s final pre-season friendly against AC Milan, which the club won on penalties after a 2-2 draw and some reports had suggested he refused to play in an attempt to force a move to Madrid.
"We will see what is going to happen," Matic said of Pogba's situation after the win over Milan.
“He's a Manchester United player and of course we will be happy if he stays. He is a great player and very important for the team. I don't see that he's going to leave. But in football anything is possible."
