"Never going to go to Arsenal": Jamie Carragher makes claim about 58-year-old manager

Jamie Carragher has ruled out Jose Mourinho ever becoming the manager of Arsenal or any other Premier League side. The 58-year-old was sacked by Tottenham on Monday morning, after struggling to lead his side to a successful campaign. Mourinho has previously been one of the best managers in the Premier League, however, now, according to Carragher, it is doubtful that any top side of the league will decide to offer him a job. “I don’t see Mourinho back in the Premier League,” Carragher admitted. “That ship has sailed now. I struggle to think of any club who would sort of take him. He’s been at Spurs, so he’s never going to go to Arsenal. “He’s been at United, he’s never going to go to City. Liverpool wouldn’t have him. “But would Jose go to a middle of the table club? I don’t see Jose there. I think it’s ether international football or maybe going back to the Italian league.”
