New updates on Naby Keita's injury following his return to Merseyside

Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita has suffered an injury while being on international duty as his national team Guinea is participating in the AFCON. Keita limped out of Guinea's second match against Nigeria after 70 minutes and was benched during the crucial game against Burundi. The 24-year-old returned to Merseyside on Monday for assessment by club medical staff after appearing to aggravate the adductor muscle injury which ruled him out of the Champions League final and it seems like he won't be able to return for the AFCON. Guinea are third in Group B and have high possibility to qualify for the next round.
